![]() ![]() Perhaps this 'bundle' method is unworkable for Bus圜al. Might this be something that BusyMac could do? Bundle up multiple version of Bus圜al and your old loyal customers can get a discount - maybe it would also be useful for people who want to run older versions of Bus圜al on machines that cannot run recent versions? Maybe a bundle including Bus圜ontacts would also make sense? ![]() (There are complications for people who might have paid less than $50 for BC1 due to promotions or things like that that makes this an imperfect method in some cases). If BC2 sells for $50 and BC3 sells for $50, you could offer a bundle of BC1 and BC2 for $80, resulting in those who already have BC1 only getting charged an extra $30 - an effective discount matching the one offered by the BusyMac website. But then I can across which talks about how some developers have sold 'bundles' of their software which include copies of their 'old' versions and that allows them to give discounts to people who already have purchased the old versions. What I most want is to get the upgrade pricing on the Mac App Store, but as I do a web search for 'mac app store upgrade pricing' I learn that Apple does not have a mechanism for this type of thing, though it has been long requested by developers and users. I suppose I could migrate our calendars away from Google and over to iCloud and keep using BC2, or I could give up on BC and use Apple's Calendar.app, or I could leave the App store and buy directly from BusyMac - each having tradeoffs between cost, convenience, and effort. Purchasing BC3 in the Canadian Mac App store looks like it will cost me $70, even after already purchasing BC1 and BC2. The thing is I LIKE making purchases through the Mac App Store - the convenience of doing so is very valuable to me. Storage is a two-way street on My Study Life, as teachers are also able to create and share schedules securely with their students.I have not been paying attention to Bus圜al developments these days (why would I? I just use the software.) I was surprised today when my copy of Bus圜al 2 popped up a warning that Google syncing was going to change and that I needed to move to BC3 if I wanted it to continue to work.įortunately BusyMac offers fairly reasonable upgrade pricing, but as I understand things, to take advantage of the upgrade pricing I will need to purchase BC3 directly from BusyMac rather than through the Mac App Store. Best of all, that information is available across any device, as what you add from the mobile app will be synced through the cloud to any desktop version of My Study Life that you use. My Study Life also lets you store notes and exams, track homework and assignments, and get notifications for upcoming tasks. While class schedules are certainly a big component of My Study Life, it's not the only thing you can manage with this app. My Study Life is a cross-platform app that lets you manage your class schedule across multiple devices - there are web and Windows versions in addition to the mobile apps for iPhone and Android devices. With a lot of schools conducting online classes these days, making sure your class schedule has gone digital is a bright idea. ![]()
